Our Leadership Team
Andrew Escamilla is the Chief Executive Officer of BridgePoint Hospital National Harbor. He is responsible for the strategic direction, operational execution and profitability of the hospital. Andrew also serves as a Board Member of the District of Columbia Hospital Association where he strives to strengthen the healthcare system and promote better health outcomes.
Prior to joining BridgePoint, Andrew served as the Principle and Founder of Gerard Jones Consultancy FZE, a healthcare consultancy company focused on the development, transformation and operations of healthcare in the Middle East. He has played an instrumental role in achieving operational excellence for several hospitals in the States and overseas, including Triumph Healthcare and Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centers.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University in Livonia and Master of Science in Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Diane K. White, MSN, RN serves as the Chief Clinical Officer of BridgePoint Hospital National Harbor. With 30+ years of experience in critical care and progressive leadership, Diane brings her clinical expertise and result-oriented outlook to the executive team, providing support in developing evidence-based clinical programs. Prior to joining BridgePoint, Diane served in various executive clinical leadership roles for Kindred Hospital South Philadelphia and Acuity Specialty Hospital of New Jersey.
Diane holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing and Health Administration from Widener University, Pennsylvania.
Samaria R. Washington serves BridgePoint Healthcare as an Administrator. Her expertise lies in Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, policy analysis, staff education, governmental regulations, and community resources with over 25 years of progressive experience in the long-term healthcare industry.
She has managed facility operations for several nursing facilities and developed growth and expansion strategies to improve quality of healthcare. Some of the previous organizations that she worked for include Brinton Woods of Pikesville Health & Rehabilitation, Sanctuary at Holy Cross, and Bel Pre Health & Rehabilitation Center where she provided developmental and administrative oversight and managed over 200 healthcare professionals.
Samaria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Respiratory Therapy Certificate, and Certificate in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Training with a proven record of cultivating positive community relations with healthcare providers in all settings and referral sources.
Mike Grubb serves as the Chief Financial Officer for BridgePoint Hospital National Harbor. With over 26 years of experience in finance and accounting, Mike is responsible for managing the financial operations of the facility and possesses a strong background in budgeting/forecasting and cash management.
Prior to joining the BridgePoint team, Mike has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Kindred Hospital South Bay, Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Center, and Vista Hospital of South Bay, located in Southern California.
