Marc C. Ferrell is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of BridgePoint Healthcare based in Washington, D.C. He provides strategic direction and vision for the organization, laying the foundation for long-term growth and stability.

Beginning his career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Marc worked his way up through the ranks to hospital operations. Early in his career, he joined Specialty Healthcare Services, a Texas-based startup Long Term Acute Care Hospital company and was later appointed as the Vice President of Hospital Operations. Specialty grew into seven locations nationally before being acquired by a publically traded company.

In 2003, Marc co-founded Vista Healthcare, a California-based Long Term Acute Care Hospital operator which grew from one previously shuttered hospital into four freestanding and one co-located hospital with over 2000 employees. Of the four freestanding hospitals Marc operated, three had been closed for extended periods of time. Marc successfully led the team to reopen the facilities in regulatory-intensive California, and in late 2010 successfully sold Vista to a publically traded company who still operates the hospitals today.

A calculated risk taker with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and a passion for excellence, Marc next founded BridgePoint Healthcare in 2014 and acquired four post-acute care providers that include two Long Term Acute Care Hospitals and two Skilled Nursing Facilities in Washington D.C. With a dedicated and highly skilled team, hard work, and many long hours, BridgePoint Healthcare is on its way to becoming a leading Post Acute Care provider in the areas it serves.
